Delicious, cinnamon-sugar-coated treats that are soft on the inside and slightly crisp on the edges.

Scale
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar (for rolling)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  4. Stir in the all-purpose flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Take spoonfuls of dough and roll them into balls.
  6. Combine the remaining sugar and ground cinnamon, then roll each ball of dough in this mixture.
  7. Drop the rolled dough balls onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
