A rich, gooey masterpiece that transforms a basic chocolate cake into an extraordinary dessert, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • Chocolate shavings or chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake batter by following package instructions in a 9×13 inch pan. Bake until your kitchen is filled with a glorious chocolate aroma, then let the cake cool completely.
  2. Poke holes all over the cooled cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. Combine the 2 cups of milk and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Soak the cake by pouring the creamy mixture over it, allowing the holes to fill. Let it soak for a few hours or overnight.
  5. Top the cake with whipped topping and garnish with chocolate shavings or chips.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using chocolate milk instead of regular milk. Ensure the cake cools completely before poking for best results.
